2009 Siggraph conference

New Orleans convention Center Alioscopy announced its participation with Autodesk at the 2009 Siggraph conference at the New Orleans Convention Center (August 4th – 6th).
(Booth # 2201).
The Exhibition part of the conference will be held from August 4th to August 6th. This is the part I will be attending. I am looking forward to exploring this year's new software, hardware, and services offered by vendors from throughout the world. This event is expected to draw an estimated 25,000 professionals from five continents! That is amazing to me! "The SIGGRAPH conference attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over planet Earth." That's the WHOLE world!
Additionally, the conference is home to the international SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival, showcasing works from the world's most innovative and accomplished digital film and video creators. Juried and curated content includes outstanding achievements in time-based art, scientific visualization, visual effects, real-time graphics, and narrative shorts. Since 1999, the festival also has been an official qualifying event for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Best Animated Short Film award.
